KWA is an American airsoft company selling extremely realistic airsoft rifles and pistols. Included in KWA’s product line is their PTP line. PTP stands for Professional Training Pistol. These pistols are realistic even down to the way they are fieldstripped and maintained. I really like the idea of a differentiated line for professional weapons. This shows that a company is really and truly invested into the market that they are involved in. It also shows a company that is using high grade parts and takes pride in the work that they do.
Just the number of rifles and pistols offered by KWA is reason enough to be impressed. I’ve said in other articles that I could believe a sight was offering real guns if I didn’t know better, but with the KWA sight I still can’t always tell if I’m looking at an airsoft gun or and AR. I’m sure that this quality and absolute realism is what draws many enthusiasts to the KWA lines of guns, and what makes the professionals chose them when the need a very realistic alternative to actually shooting themselves to train.
If I were asked to recommend only one or two companies to buy from and I could only use the knowledge I gained from the company’s website and positive reviews, I would still feel very confident in suggesting KWA as one of my top two.
Another thing with this company that impresses me very much is the 45 day warranty and lifetime tech support. I know too many manufacturers that will create and sell airsoft guns but will not lift a finger to help get them working again if problems arise. I’m sure that it’s this commitment to not only satisfying the customers with a solid product, but also solid support, that has grown KWA airsoft and allowed them to continue to create such realistic and fascinating products.
I personally would have relished some hands on training with these weapons when I was preparing for my deployment to Iraq. We did plenty of live fire training and plenty of blank fire exercises also but I feel that training with replicas of this caliber would have done nothing but work to our benefit in the end. I was also astounded by the Pro Shop on their website.
I was able to find every repair part I would ever need there and also some cool KWA gear on top of that. In a seemingly unrivaled display of awesomeness, KWA includes free exploded diagrams of many if not all of their guns on the website for free. It’s this attention to detail offering that really won me over. I have not had a chance to fire a KWA yet but when I do I expect to have a most positive article to write. Please stay tuned as I eagerly await the day I get a KWA Airsoft Gun in my hands.
