If I had to sum up the UTG airsoft company in one word it would be ridiculous. Now this might sound like a pretty terrible to start a review but that is only if you stopped reading at the first line. If you’re one of the people that stops at first lines while reading reviews then shame on you. If you would have let me complete my thought you would have known that if I was given just a few more words in my description then the complete thought would have been something like, Man it is REDICULOUS how awesome UTG is.
Why the shining review you ask? Well it’s because they are not just an airsoft company. I’m pretty sure that they make every tactical accessory known to man and then some. I was very impressed with the quality and construction of the UTG assault and Sniper airsoft rifles. I was a little bit let down by some of the pistols I saw offered. It wasn’t necessarily the quality of the weapons as much as the action chosen. They were spring pistols and I feel that if you are going to make such good looking pistols then they ought to function equally as well.
I know that spring works just fine as a firing mechanism but it leaves so much to be desired when it comes to rate of fire. It seems pathetic to me to have to rack your slide every single time you want to fire. But I digress you can’t always have everything the way you want it. This statement doesn’t apply to rifles. I found that when it came to rifles UTG had plenty of what I wanted.
I really like that this company manufactures and sells real tactical accessories for real guns because this tends to translate out to improvements for the airsoft guns they make also. I was very impressed with the airsoft sniper rifles that they make that I have not yet been able to choose the one that I want to buy. This is a problem but indeed a very good problem to have.
Another important reason that I like UTG is the fact that their parent company Leapers Inc. Was founded and is ran in America. This means that your tech support call will be handled in house and it also means that it will be handled by someone that is uniquely qualified and knowledgeable on the airsoft gun you’re having problems with. As I said to start my article, everything and I do mean everything adds up to make this one of the most impressive companies I’ve seen in the market today.
