P90 Airsoft Gun

The P90 was designed in the 1990s in Belgium and P90 is the abbreviated form of Project 90, where the gun was known as PDW i.e. Private Defense Weapon. The P90 was designed with a cartridge of 5.7 x 28 mm with the requirement of flatter path, larger penetrating capacity and fatal range, to replace existing pistol-caliber weapons.

The P90 was created with a blowback operation. In this operation, on firing, the top portion of the gun slides back. It recoils back to position and the firing takes place from within a closed bolt. The bolt carrier assembly is directed by the parallel spring rods. Below the trigger, two kinds of mechanism has been used, namely, trigger mechanism and internal hammer striking mechanism, along with a fire control selector called the three positioned rotary dial. Random firing is controlled by the fire selector.

Automatic firing is generated by pulling the trigger completely till the end and a slight touch to the trigger generates a semi automatic firing. The gun has the capacity to hold 50- round box magazines. The left side of the gun sees double stacked cartridges of the magazine. The double stack is attained with the help of spiral feed ramps and rollers. The P90 facilitates both handed shooters i.e. left handed or right handed shooters. And this can be done without having to make any changes to the existing specifications.
